Description
This is a 1933 Pierce Arrow Silver Arrow which was photographed at a museum in Portland, Oregon during a special event. These were built for the 1933 Chicago World's Fair. Only 5 were built. This is one of three surviving vehicles. The original price was $10,000 with a top speed of 115 mph. Both were mind blowing for the public to consider in 1933. This vehicle was part of the Harrah's Auto Collection from the early 1960s until 1987. It was restored by the Harrah's facility. First public auction of a Silver Arrow since 1973. Today it is valued at $2,200,000. It is truly an incredible thing of beauty.
