Description
The calla lily (Zantedeschia aethiopica) is a perennial plant native to southern Africa. It comes in many colors from pink, yellow, red and even a very dark purple with white being the most common and hardiest. It grows to 2 to 3.5 feet tall with large clumps of broad green leaves. The blooms are large and are produced in spring, summer and autumn, with a yellow spadix. They produces a faint, sweet fragrance.
