This sunrise shot of Portland Oregon was taken from the west hills at the Pittock mansion. This area gives an awesome view of the downtown area with Mt Hood in the background. The mansion was built in 1914 for one of Oregons influential families.
Henry Pittock, the owner of The Oregonian newspaper, and his wife Georgiana, built Pittock Mansion. It is now owned by The City of Portland now owns the estate and Portland Parks makes it accessible to the public.
