These are Bighorn sheep that were reintroduced to Oregon in the Pacific Northwest. They have made a great come back and are a great wildlife factor to the state.
The bighorn sheep are native to North America and named for its large horns which can weigh up to 30 lbs. Their horns are used by the males during the rut when they crash head long into each other.
