Description
The Amur leopard is a leopard subspecies of southeastern Russia and northeast China. It is Critically Endangered since 1996. In 2007, only 1926 wild Amur leopards were estimated to survive. The World Wildlife Association reports that there are roughly 70 adult Amur leopards in the wild today. Their range in the wild is throughout Russia and China.
