Description
The Tilikum Crossing bridge is fitted with LED lights that will change colors depending on the temperature, depth and flow of the river. It currently is the largest bridge in the US that is only open to pedestrians, bicycles and the transit train.
Construction began in 2011 and was opened on September 12, 2015. The name Tilikum comes from the local Chinook Native American's word for people. The Tilikum Crossing was the first new bridge to be opened across the Willamette River in the Portland metropolitan area since 1973.

Stunning image! Holy cow, folks! That bridge wasn't there the two times I stayed in Portland to train a call center crew. L/F/tw

Thanks, it's a relatively new bridge. Opened to pedestrian and transit traffic only in 2015.
