Description
The water lily, Nymphaeaceae are a plant that is rooted in soil in ponds and lakes with round leaves and flowers floating on the surface of the water. They live in tropical climates in many countries. This plant was photographed in a very warm greenhouse. There are approximately 70 different types of water lilies. The colors and shapes are totally incredible and as they float on ponds there are often great reflections.
