Description
This shot is taken from Oxbow Bend in the Grand Tetons where the Snake River makes a sharp bend. In the early morning when the sun is first touching the whole scene and the water is still you get a nearly perfect mirror reflection.
Oxbow Bend is along the Snake River near Moran and Willow Flats near the Jackson Lake Lodge in the Grand Teton National Park. Grand Teton National Park is an USA national park located in northwestern Wyoming. There are approximately 310,000 acres which includes the major peaks of the 40-mile-long Teton Range along with the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole and the town of Jackson to the south. Grand Teton National Park is only 10 miles south of Yellowstone National Park, to which it is connected by the John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. Along with surrounding national forests, these three protected areas constitute the almost 18,000,000-acre Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem,
