Description
This sunset was taken of Crown Point and the Vista House which is on a promontory on the Columbia River Gorge from the Women's Forum. Access to the location is on the Old Gorge Highway just east of Corbett.
The Columbia River Gorge is located in the Pacific Northwest and is over 80 miles long. It also forms the boundary between Oregon and Washington through the Cascade Range. It begins where the Deschutes River connects with the Columbia River and opens up at Troutdale.
It is a largely popular tourist and photographer destination for it's beauty. With the most popular spots being on the Historic Columbia River Highway.
