Description
The Sphynx cat is a breed known for its lack of fur. It was developed through selective breeding, in the 1960s. The skin feels like chamois, is usually completely hairless and it's whiskers may either whole or broken and may be totally absent. They also have a narrow, long head with large ears. Their skin is the color that their fur would be. As they have no coat they feel warm to the touch as well as heat-seeking as they easily loose their heat.
They display a high level of energy, intelligence, curiosity, and affection for their owners and are usually friendly when meeting strangers. They are one of the more dog-like breeds of cats.
