Description
In the autumn season the falltime leaf color changes from the normal green leaves of many deciduous trees and shrubs to various shades of red, yellow, purple, black, blue, orange, magenta, brown but only during a few weeks.
A green leaf is green because of a pigment called as chlorophyll. From spring until fall it is abundant in the leaf's cells. The chlorophyll's green color dominates all other colors of any other pigments that may be present in the leaf until the colder weather of fall makes the chlorophyll evaporate.
