This spider on a leaf was altered using a Photoshop plugin to give it an electrifed look.
Spiders are arthropods that have eight legs and fangs that can inject venom usually in their prey. They will also use their venom when under threat. Spiders are found worldwide on every continent except for Antarctica. They can be found in nearly every habitat. As of November 2015, at least 45,700 spider species have been recorded by taxonomists.

It is an incredibly beautiful world out there. Our goal is to try to capture some of it in our images. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest we never lack for places to shoot. But never pass up the chance to visit all the many other beautiful places this world has to offer. Along with all the wonderful creatures, large and small.
