Artist's Description
Before sunrise in Portland, OR on a drizzly fall morning was able to get a neat view of the historic St. Johns Bridge in urban North Portland Oregon. The sky was just beginning to brighten just enough during the blue hour to still get the long exposure for taillights to streak. When in the rainy beautiful Pacific Northwest you get the awesome reflections on this wonderful landmark infrastructure.
The St. Johns Bridge is in the St. Johns area of North Portland, Oregon spans the Willamette River. The suspension bridge spans the Willamette River and was dedicated on June 13, 1931.
The bridge has two 408 feet tall Gothic towers, and a total length of 2,067 feet. The surrounding Cathedral Park was named after the Gothic Cathedral-like of the bridge towers.
