This sunset was taken at Trillium Lake in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon. Trillium Lake is 7.5 miles south-southwest of Mount Hood two miles from Government Camp, Oregon on Hwy 26. Being this close to the mountain along with an uninterrupted view gives some wonderful reflections.
The lake is 2 miles down a road off the highway which closes when the snows begin. Making the lake only accessible by hiking.

It is an incredibly beautiful world out there. Our goal is to try to capture some of it in our images. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest we never lack for places to shoot. But never pass up the chance to visit all the many other beautiful places this world has to offer. Along with all the wonderful creatures, large and small. We have also been blessed with many wonderful photographic adventures to some awesome places which we are happy to share with you.
