Description
This sunset was taken from Crown Point which is on a promontory on the Columbia River Gorge. Access to the location is on the Old Gorge Highway.
The Columbia River Gorge is located in the Pacific Northwest and is over 80 miles long. It also forms the boundary between Oregon and Washington through the Cascade Range. It begins where the Deschutes River connects with the Columbia River and opens up at Troutdale.
It is a largely popular tourist and photographer destination for it's beauty. With the most popular spots being on the Historic Columbia River Highway. This image was taken from Vista House which can often have not parking spots available.
